Keep the area near temple clean

Keep the area near temple clean

Recently, I noticed garbage lying near the Narayan Dev Temple, which is under the Mapusa Municipal Council (MMC). This attracts stray dogs and rodents, and there have been several near accidents caused by dogs running around with food waste.

The MMC has also improved some black spots by planting flowers, especially since the area is close to a temple. This idea should be used here too.

Our Chief Minister Pramod Sawant has said that temples should be kept clean. So, the area around them should also be clean, with help from both the local people and the authorities. We say Goa is 100% literate, but where do we stand when it comes to cleanliness?
