When we ride cars or two-wheelers we encounter big potholes, which are dangerous for motorists.
Many people have died due to these massive potholes, which have appeared due to the negligence of public works department and government.
No compensation has yet been given to the victims for this negligence. The cause was due to contractors being not capable of handling the road work.Panchayat members, sarpanchs, MLAs get commission for tenders issued. Whoever gives higher commission bags the tender. Water supply workers also dig the road for connections due to which every road is damaged. When you drive, you will feel like you are in heaven. If you drove down unknown roads, you may face the problem. So wearing helmet is the only safe option people have. Public works department and government have failed to solve roads problem in State.
But transport department loots people in the name of fines, even though roads are not in good condition. Vehicle owners pay road taxes to transport department but public works department gives us potholed roads. The hotmixing that is done before rains gets washed away in rainy season. Wastage of taxpayer's money and headache to taxpayers sums up the reality.
