Dangerous stunts by tourists need to be deterred

The state of Goa has now become a tourist spot for various stunts. Recently, a couple was seen sitting on the front bonnet of a car and taking a ride along the roads in North Goa. This stunt was captured on a mobile camera and has gone viral on social media. Despite several precautions and warnings, tourists in Goa continue to perform these stunts, putting their own lives at risk as well as the lives of others on the roads. If the brakes are suddenly applied while riding on the bonnet, the couple will definitely fall onto the road, leading to injuries, and then blame Goan roads and the state.

It has become a practice to perform stunts and engage in rash driving on roads and beaches, and then blame Goa police for not taking action at the scene. It’s high time now for the state government to provide traffic personnel in all the interior villages along the roads to monitor and deter such stunts and rides from taking place. There should be strict control over such activities to prevent unforeseen events on the roads. It’s time to be vigilant and strict on the streets to curtail these stunts, both on the roads and beaches. Is this conversation helpful so far?
