I am writing to express my deep concern about the alarming air pollution situation in Delhi and its far-reaching consequences. The manner in which the Chief Minister of Delhi has handled this crisis is nothing short of appalling. Allowing firecrackers and manipulating AQI data are just a few examples of the corruption that plagues our system. On top of that, responsible organizations organizing a walkathon and cycling events in the midst of this crisis is a mockery of our trust. It is a well-known fact that Delhi and other major Indian cities face severe air pollution problems year after year. We are already witnessing an influx of migrants from Delhi to Goa, which is putting a strain on our resources. The corrupt authorities in Goa are exacerbating the situation by destroying our natural resources to cater to the rising population. This will eventually lead to Goa facing a similar pollution crisis, leaving us wondering where to turn. It is imperative that authorities take concrete steps to address air pollution and prioritize the health of its citizens.
