In yet another incident, a young boy lost his life and another was injured in an illegal motorbike race. The Verna road has become a racing track and death trap. The said incident is not new and before this many youth have been injured in racing activity. There should be day time patrolling on this road as the road being an interior road, many college students get their bikes and then bet or challenge each other in bike races. Parents should not allow their children to use bikes for this racing activity despite bikes being demanded by children to go to college to reach on time. There should be strict rules for the students regarding commuting using motorcycles and authorities should keep an eye on them after college hours. Police men should be deployed at Verna IDC where such activities take place.
