A high-level expert report has been presented at the ongoing World Climate Conference (COP 29) in Azerbaijan, where discussions on changing global climate are underway. The conference emphasizes raising $1 trillion annually by 2030 and achieving the goals of the Paris Agreement. It highlights the need for $6.3 to $6.7 trillion annually by 2030 to address global climate issues and implement solutions for changing weather conditions. Specifically, emerging economies require $2.4 trillion annually. Excluding China, other developing countries need $1,600 billion for clean energy, $250 billion for adapting to climate change, $250 billion for addressing losses due to climate change, $300 billion for sustainable agriculture and natural capital, and $40 billion to tackle challenges arising from these transitions. Some developed countries, including Germany, Canada, and France, expressed the urgent need to raise billions of dollars during the COP 29 conference. A significant amount of money will be spent to implement solutions for rising global climate issues. It is expected that countries like India and other developing nations will continue to receive such support even after 2025. How will this conference solve the multi-billion-dollar equation for global climate issues?
