I have observed Goa before liberation till today. I feel the development and progress is in reverse gear as whatever the ministers in the government say exactly the opposite takes place. They are fooling the people by celebrating festivals and giving money for enjoyment. The way land and properties are being sold to non-Goans is a perfect example of misplaced priorities. Construction of abundance of flats by the builder lobby gives outsiders easy establishment in Goa, but it's not the case for Goans for easy settlement in other parts of the country due to the fact that problems of unrest and risks of robberies, etc are very high in rest of india.
