Politicians of all hues are ambitious in nature for self glorification and feathering their own nest. MGP has self destructed itself by initially allowing BJP to ride on its wings. It is now the privilege of Dhavalikars to keep it alive on ventilator.
Two of its elected members joined BJP midway. Sudhin was sacked as he was not essential anymore after mass entry of Congress MLAs. If he has any self-respect, he would not extend unconditional support, when there is massive resistance against him from BJP legislators. But he is sure that he will be accommodated not to feel like fish out of water in political ocean
He made common cause with TMC and exuded confidence to be in power in coalition scenario. He vowed not to have any truck with BJP, and poured venom just like GFP, which embraced BJP too.
There is nothing sanctimonious about oaths, affidavits, utterances to hold MLAs accountable post elections. Let's wait and watch GFP's next move under blessings and consultations with stake holders, but this time it may not be secretive at dead of the night but in broad sunshine to be embossed with a legitimate stamp of approval.
