The two and four-wheeler riders on our roads constantly disregard the Road Traffic Rules. They mostly use the roads with impunity, thereby inviting avoidable road accidents by leaving their side lights and blinkers on. For those who tend to forget, there is a beeping system available. Despite this, the traffic users don’t seem to care about it.
As a result, those following behind are unable to determine which turn the front riders are going to take, either left or right. In the past, drivers/riders had to provide a visual signal, but with modern technology, things have greatly improved. Yet, this careless attitude persists. Unfortunately, our Traffic Police are unable to curb this negligence. I hope to share my views on this easily correctable negligence.
