Theonion is a bulb bomb in India, it is powerful enough even to shake governments. The Janata Party government at the Centre in 1979 and the BJP government inDelhi in the 90s are still considered victims of onion bomb. The skyrocketingprices benefit the middlemen and traders, who end up making huge profits andthe farmers who toil hard end up as beggars. The government has to bridge thisgap and ensure that the hard-working farmers get the worth for theirtoil.
