Desperate attempt to reinstate Article 370 in Kashmir

Why areKashmiri leaders making a desperate attempt to reinstate Article 370? It isunfortunate to have such leaders. They want to restore this law for their ownbenefit. Kashmir is burning over the last so many years and it seemsnever-ending. Original natives, the Kashmiri pandits and Dogras have beennearly driven out of the region. Their children and grandchildren are nowhappily settled in foreign countries. The leaders back home are simply wastingtheir time to create a bogus freedom struggle entirely sponsored by Pakistan. There cannot be two constitutions in one country. The Union government shouldstop extending many of the exclusive privileges to these leaders if they are soconcerned about the plight of Kashmir. The Centre has already kept the door ofthe Srinagar central jail open for these leaders. It was an absolutemasterstroke by the Union government to not only divide the state into two parts, but also make them union territories.
