Don’t disturb peaceful co-existence in Goa

Religion is a personal attribute that every individual is entitled to at his own will. All religions are respectful and no one can condemn the faith of another.

No religion is superior than the other and all are equal in faith. When I was a child, I was taught that God is everywhere and that we have to pray for the goodwill of all human beings irrespective of which faith they belong to.

It is we the people who make the state what it is and we are the backbone of the economy. A multilateral population is the best foundation our Goa has had because the trade and commerce flourished and the people benefited.

When festivals and social occasions happen, people spend money not

looking at religion and all the people benefit and this is how Goa prospered socially and economically.

This is my clarion to the leaders, you may restore and build as many religious structures as you want but people of Goa are not dummies to fall prey to these divisive and destructive legislations

Goans will always continue to remain peaceful and maintain the sanity as we had from the time our ancestors lived.
