Don’t fall for empty promises of politicians at election time

Currently, what is happening in Goan politics is all drama. All promises made are nothing, but fake. Suddenly the parties in the poll fray are promising jobs for all. And every election, we fall for this job-promise bait. But after elections, the job promise is forgotten. People too are shameless and will never learn a lesson. All I can say is that the present government has not lived up to people’s expectations. People have suffered and most during the second wave of Covid, yet the government is patting itself on the back for a shoddy job well done. Cylinder and petrol prices have gone up pinching the common man’s pocket real hard. Politicians have not done anything for the last five years and now when the elections are near all that e see is drama. Today, the same politicians are begging for votes, but tomorrow after winning the elections they will make you beg for jobs and other things. So vote wisely and elect the candidate of your choice who will take Goa and Goans forward and not backward.
