His birthday lacks official acknowledgment, a stark contrast to his enduring impact. Even in the new Assembly complex, his absence is glaring. Yet, Dr Sequeira’s vision safeguarded Goa’s identity and prevented its assimilation into Maharashtra. His principled leadership during the Opinion Poll era is unparalleled, rallying diverse voices for Goa’s autonomy.
