Dr Jack Sequeira’s long overdue recognition

Dr Jack de Sequeira, hailed as the Father of the Opinion Poll, a pioneering visionary in advocating for a separate state and the Konkani language, has been unjustly overlooked since 1967. His principled leadership during the Opinion Poll era is unparalleled, rallying diverse voices for Goa’s autonomy. It’s time to honour his legacy with the recognition it deserves”a testament not in stone, but in the hearts of the people.
