According to newspaper reports a 16-year-old student, who was preparing for National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) died by suicide by hanging herself in Rajasthan’s Kota on Sep 13, 2023. Another 18-year-old student preparing for JEE was found dead in Kota on Jan 29, 2024, also by suicide. A note recovered from her room suggests that she was stressed due to her studies.
