Elections have ended, now work for progress

BJP President Sadanand Shet Tanavade is struggling to accept that Congress's Captain Viriato won the South Goa seat. He finds it hard to believe that having money and the entire government machinery blindly following orders to detain political leaders is insufficient to secure an election victory.

Despite the guarantees from a single leader, election outcomes are still unpredictable because the people are astute enough to judge the performance of their political party leaders.

Instead of accepting defeat gracefully, Tanavade continues to criticize religious leaders. He seems to forget that the same individuals who pledged unity in front of religious leaders at temples, churches, and mosques are now the ones he targets.

Wasn't this pledge-breaking an insult to the faithful of those communities? It’s time to focus on sustainable development by involving the public, rather than prioritizing corporates and real estate interests that are destroying Goa's rich biodiversity and profiting from corrupt dealings for future elections or personal gain.

Leaders should reflect on what the RSS Chief has said about ten years of governance and work towards genuine progress.
