In recent weeks, many Goans were suspicious when the Goa government suddenly started using 39-A to notify large areas of land as Non Development Zones (NDZ) and this was widely publicized via various media including print, TV, digital/social media including the use of influencers with large followers. However, what is gradually coming to light is that this is nothing but more of a deceitful deception to perhaps portray to people and also to justice system ( considering the cases are in court!), that 39/A is being put to good use and the overall affect is net positive. On scrutiny, it has been found that the Goa government is declaring land as NDZ under 39-A for land that is already under NDZ and land already protected via various laws including central government laws. Now the fact that the Goa government is stooping to such low levels of fooling people, to try achieving their ulterior motives is a big shame for the BJP government. Goans must not get swayed by such deception and their related propaganda.
