Goa no longer a favourite tourist destination

Sad but true, that Goa is no longer the favourite haunt of tourists as it used to be a few years back. Several countries like Vietnam, Thailand, Greece and Turkey are now in the race, having stolen the limelight with attractive tour packages and tourists flocking to these places in large numbers.

Added to this we have high hotel accommodation rates, unaffordable taxi fares, deplorable condition of our roads, poor internet services, frequent power outages, etc which have taken the joy  out of this once beautiful and peaceful paradise.

The situation has spiraled out of control, and it looks like we have reached a point of no return. Even our neighbouring states are proving to be better places to enjoy one’s holidays. We have nothing better to offer in Goa now, except our late night rave parties where wine, women and drugs are easily available. What a pitiful state of affairs.
