The Lok Sabha is passing many important Bills like the CrPC bills on criminal matters, the Telecommunications Bill, etc when 146 MPs from the Opposition have been suspended from the House. Is there no quorum that ensure a certain proportion of MPs from each Opposition party are present in the House or at least a certain proportion of the Opposition are present? Does the Constitution not say anything about this? Passing such Bills of national importance without discussion or debate is not correct and the incumbent government is having a field day in passing all these Bills with great alacrity.
