If we drive from Pernem to Canacona with a four-wheeler or two wheelers we will notice more then a ankle deep potholes filled with water during the rainy season. It shows the pathetic condition of the roads in Goa where so many motorists have fractured their hands or legs and some have left this world after serious head injuries. As we pay road tax to the RTO for using the roads it is the utmost duty of the Public Works Department to give motorable roads and not potholed roads in the entire State . If people of Goa cannot get motorable roads than the government should stop accepting road tax. The government should take to task the people responsible for the pathetic road conditions of Goa.
