Govt must revise bus fares

Fuel prices have been increasing almost on a daily basis. However, private bus operators have remained ultimate sufferers in the process.

Due to the restrictions on account of the Covid pandemic, they have been compelled to restrict the number of passengers. With less number of commuters, many buses have to travel larger distance thereby involving large quantity of fuel on daily basis. 

Amidst poor business, this becomes a difficult task. Even the prices of spare parts have been rising on regular basis. Under such circumstances, many bus operators have been hard hit and are unable to fulfil even their basic needs. 

It is time for the government to consider the request of private bus operators so that they are able to have a happy living.
