Govt's decisions making Goa unsafe for residents

Goa woke up to the shocking case where a well-connected family was robbed at Mapusa. And because this family was well connected the Goa Police and Chief Minister Pramod Sawant rushed to their house.  Whilst I sympathize with the family for going through the ordeal during the robbery some important questions arise: Some weeks back there were multiple robberies at Colva, was there any assurance/acknowledgement given by the Chief Minister on these cases and what's the update from the Goa/Colva police on the same? Do Goans really have confidence in the Goa Police or Home Minister to keep themselves and their valuables safe? The Goa CM himself said that migrants are responsible for rising crimes in Goa (there are many migrant gangs from impoverished states who see Goa as a gold mine for robberies); so why is the Goa government encouraging more migrants to come in via their freebies, legalising illegal encroachments/houses (for vote bank politics via Mhaje Ghar Yojana etc) and in doing so making Goa even more unsafe for its residents.
