Climatic change is rapidly increasing across the globe and is a matter of major concern worldwide. It's effects can be observed globally wherein we have to deal with severe heat during the day. Subsequently, there was an insurmountable delay of snowfall in the Himalayas and also lack of rainfall in certain parts of the country. However, it's the need of the hour that the successful governments should tackle this issue by implementing projects of sustainable development. As far as 'sustainable development' is concerned, the resources are utilised wisely, in such a way that it benefits everyone. Henceforth, the government, citizens and also the future generation receive the share of benefits in sustainable development. The Goa government which has embarked on achieving climatic goals with 'Blended Finance Facility' in partnership with the World Bank is a stepping stone for such type of 'sustainable development'. This is infact one of its kind and is definitely going to benefit the State of Goa and must be appreciated.
