I would like to congratulate Saish Gawthankar, a visually impaired (100% blind) student of National Association for the Blind (NAB) Goa from Arrao, Pomburpa for coming out with flying colours securing 80% marks at the SSC board exams by writing his answers on a computer using screen reader software for the very first time in the history of Goa. In fact, when I visited Saish along with my family to congratulate him for coming out with flying colours at the SSC board exams at Pomburpa, he sang a melodious Hindi track by playing his keyboard and went on to entertain us with a lot of excitement/confidence. Asked about his future plans, Saish said that he now wants to do his 11th and 12th from his present school at Santa Cruz and then wants to pursue his further higher studies from wherever he can as he somehow wants to make both his parents really proud by becoming someone great in life. Anyway, here's wishing this highly talented boy from Pomburpa 'all the very best' and may he reach great heights in whatever he does and continue making both his parents really proud.
