IFFI has hardly been beneficial to Goans

The International Film Festival of India (IFFI) was started in our state by the late Manohar Parrikar in 2004 in the name of bringing long-term development and with the promise of giving guaranteed benefits for all the upcoming Goan film makers, musicians/artisans through this festival in Goa.
Unfortunately, nothing seems to have really changed, no one has benefited and we Goans are still where we are right from 2004 till date. The city of Panjim practically turns into a chaotic city with traffic congestion on account of IFFI every year.

Hey, how many world class film directors/producers and musicians have we really given the world even after organising so many IFFI festivals from 2004 in Goa? Well, I personally feel that this festival has helped all the discarded/aged/retired actors to come on a holiday every year and enjoy at the cost of our tax payers money.
I therefore think that only a handful of foolish people will find this bit of thrash improving the image of Goa and that too despite knowing that our defunct Govt is spending Rs18 crores of our hard earned money on this stupid circus.
