The village panchayat elections in Goa of 186 VPs is scheduled in the middle of June. Plans to field the candidates in different wards have already started. The funny part is that looking at the family raj and couples scenario in the state assembly elections, now the couples want to seat for the VP elections in different village wards in Goa. This is not in the interests of public but for their family gain so that they take their own decisions and make money for themselves.
The draft delimitation proposal prepared by the EROS should be modified or corrected in the village panchayat of Chandor Cavorim. This draft has to be change as it was before. It is not required in the small village wards where the voters have not increased and many are not even there in the state for voting as they are out of the country for work.
I request the government, district collector's office and district election officers to look into this matter and solve the issue as soon as possible.
