In these trying times, praying is certainly a form of inner healing. Many have grown in faith in the time of the pandemic. For some, their religion and rituals have provided them inner peace of staying calm. But as long as these rituals are conducted within the confines of our homes, there is safety. But that’s not happening at Kumbh Mela in Haridwar where thousands gathered to profess their faith. The sad part is the government administration is doing nothing to stop this holy gathering when the country is in the grip of the fast-spreading Covid-19. The situation is alarming, but no one cares.
