When State is celebrating Goa @60 it is really shocking and sad to see that the people of Goa who are fighting to protect the State and save the environment are facing lathis and FIRs.
After 60 long years, Goans today are perplexed over the state of affairs in their homeland as the government is least interested in the welfare of the people.
Today, Goa is totally disturbed by the various projects that are coming up against the wishes of the people.
The recent lathicharge against the people of Melaulim is an example how the government is hell bent in going ahead with the IIT project against the wishes of the people.
Goans are themselves to blame for the state of affairs in their homeland as time and again the same politicians are brought back to power.
With elections in a few months time, Goans must not repeat the same mistake like that of the recently held Zilla polls where the BJP got a complete majority.
