This is with reference to the report, "Mother-son duo kill father.........- The Goan Everyday November 29, 2022." Close on the heels of the Shraddha Walkar murder case comes yet another similar, horrible case of a woman & her son killing the father, in Delhi, and cutting the body into pieces and storing them in the fridge. One wonders what has happened to human's conscience, their senses. They seem to have found a new way to store body parts - call it 'Cold Storage'. Have they put their senses also in cold storage, one wonders. How else can one explain this action of using a fridge for storing body parts instead of eatables. Once again, the culprit would get away with a relatively mild sentence. It's time the authorities -- the police, courts, law makers, all concerned, wake up and amend the existing laws dealing with such murder cases. The punishment has to be equal to the crime committed then, and only then, will people come to their senses and the crime rate would come down in our country. There is no other way!
