With the Colva Fama coming up next week, I do hope that the respective authorities including the Colva panchayat ensure that adequate arrangements are made for cleanliness, hygiene, garbage/waste management, strict monitoring of the area, stiff penalties to defaulters, etc. It does not make sense that this highly popular event in Salcete messes up the place; which surely goes against the true spirit of the religious event. Hope all Colvenkars agree and also speak up (wherever possible) regarding the same to the relevant authorities.
