Some MGP MLAs want Marathi as the official language of Goa. Marathi is the official language of Maharashtra and it cannot be the official language of Goa. Goa has its own official language that is Konkani our 'mai bhas' and we the people of Goa are proud of it. People from many other States are staying and employed in Goa that doesn't mean that we go on making second and third official language for Goa. Every single state has it's own identity, language and culture which the MGP MLAs should not forget. Please do not divide people of Goa in the name of language. I respect Marathi language but it doesn't mean we have to make it the official language of other states. We cannot go in other states and fight for the official language Konkani in those states. Respect the language of the state to which it belongs. Konkani is in our blood. Every one is free to read their own newspapers and but don't make it a political circus.
