Let’s start preparing for carnival to keep our traditions alive

The streets of Goa will soon come alive with Goan culture and traditions. This year the dates for the carnival are from February 18 to 21. Multiple bands, musicians, traditional Goan dance, art work and many more activities attracts tourists from different parts of the world. Our Goans brothers and sisters should start preparing for the carnival from now and not to wait until the last minute.

This is an opportunity for Goans to show their talent and, yes, we have to show our traditional feasts, weddings etc in the carnival parade.

The government along with the tourism department should increase the number of prizes and amount so that many entries come in and take our tradition forward. Let’s make the Goa carnival full of fun and enjoyable. The folk artist should get ready for the carnival and the directors should write the best folk play. Do give a chance to young star’s to come forward with their talent. So the time to get ready for carnival parade start’s now.
