Lockdown now before daily deaths cross 100

The deadly Covid-19 virus has wreaked havoc on the lives of Goans. Young people are dying due to lack of medical attention. Frontline workers are exhausted and mentally stressed handling the flow of Covid positive patients. Some lucky ones got a new life and some died too young. Families are devastated with the losses of their loved ones but how much is too much for this current insensitive government.  One full year has been lost and instead of preparing for the fight govt already declared themselves victorious.  The delay in enforcing a full proof lockdown has already put immense pressure of our medical infrastructure. A complete well-planned lockdown of the state in the last week of April with proper checking at the borders and other restrictions would have helped in minimizing deaths. It’s never too late for such action and the govt should enforce a thorough lockdown of 15 days that will stop the spread of the virus. The CM should listen to his colleagues and impose a lockdown and not wait for daily deaths to cross 100.
