LS election: INDIA bloc unravels as parties stray

From the recent happenings in the country's political circles, it is becoming increasingly evident that the INDIA bloc alliance members are deviating from their earlier stand and resolve to remain united, even on contentious issues like seat-sharing. Even Rahul Gandhi's 'Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra' has failed to evoke feelings of national unity among alliance parties. To add salt to injury, there are also speculations of an imminent split in the JDU-RJD alliance in Bihar and a probable shift to the NDA by Nitish Kumar.

All this does not augur well for the INDIA bloc alliance, and it is a sad situation that Opposition members are digging their own graves, having failed to learn from their past mistakes and failed 'mahagatbandhans', due to petty squabbles and inflated egos.
