It has been more than 10 years since the foundation stone for the ultra modern bus terminus was laid by MLA Digambar Kamat in October 2011 at Margao.
The then government had promised to take up the project with central funding but till date there has been no light at the end of the tunnel.
The BJP government has started and completed many new bus stand projects at other places in Goa but has failed to take up the ultra modern bus terminus project at KTC Margao.
Margao bus stand is a main bus stand where a number of buses come from different villages and cities. It is the need of the hour that the public and drivers get various facilities.
There are many other such projects that are pending in Margao and the BJP time and again has only given false promises.
Fartorda and Margao MLAs are only fighting for power but they are not fighting to complete the projects which were promised to the citizens.
Hope the Margao and Fatorda MLAs along with the next government start these projects as soon as possible to make the dream of Madgavkars come true. Empty promises will not work all the time.
