Men in uniform must be praised for doing their duty

On Saturday evening a policeman was punished for doing his duty. As per sources there was 'nakabandi' in a North Goa  city and during the same policemen stopped a car belonging to an IAS officer and when asked for routine check the IAS officer got down in anger and threw on road his belongings. The matter did not stop there and later the same cop was punished and was asked to squats in police station by his superiors. The question is why cops cannot do their duty. If someone in uniform is doing duty with no discrimination then he should be applauded and not punished. In India we have VIP culture and if someone is MLA or officer in higher post they are not questioned. The VIP culture stops somebody from doing his duty. The matter is now with DIG and action should be taken.
