This refers to 'False ceiling of Sanguem school collapses, five students injured' (TGE, October 11, 2025). Pathetic state of affairs, one would say”a false ceiling coming down in a Government Higher Secondary School in Sanguem. Another mishap, soon after a fan came crashing down in a government primary school. Whatever happens, however, there is an explanation”a monkey jumped onto the roof through a gap in the roof. But how did that gap come about? Someone needs to answer. Seems like some monkey business?
Humour aside, those responsible must be held accountable. Innocent, precious lives are at stake. Accountability is what is lacking in our country, and infrastructure crashes across the country are evidence of this.
