Mopa Airport agreement initially ensured that locals would be given training for manning the service sectors including baggage transfer, security etc.
This is a must as any development must include the locals. The same was to be done through the various ITIs, but, by a government agreement the same will be held only in Mopa airport boundary by the ASDC-Aviation Skill Development Centre.

People would also like to know the job criteria and if specification of local language is given due weightage. If this is not done most of the jobs will be grabbed by outsiders and those from Maharashtra.
And what about the domicile certificate? This is a now or never exercise. Goa will be swallowed up in the next 5 years.
