Navy has a practice to fly jet fighters in afternoon and also at night time. During afternoon session, the noise is created so much that it disturbs senior citizens and patients due to the booming noise. The operation of jet simulation is done to be alert in case of attack on the country. Navy should have informed in advance that they are going to carry out such operation through print media or local digital media on news channels, etc. When you visit the naval quarters and their office in Chicalim and Varunapuri they are very strict and have tight security that will not allow civilians to enter their gate. When they are so strict about their security and safety, they should take care to see that general public and residents of nearby areas are not affected by their jet fighter operations which creates booming sound.
