Need being felt for carcass incinerators

According to animal welfare groups and feeders, feeding of community dogs has not been banned by the Supreme Court but regulated and that the caring for community dogs must continue in a responsible and lawful manner. Now that guidelines are in place as far as caring for community dogs is concerned, it also seems necessary to focus attention on steps to be taken to dispose of the carcass after a community dog dies. Incidentally there are no sufficient number of carcass incinerators in the state to dispose of carcasses of animals that die on the streets and that includes even stray cattle. Many times the carcass of massive fishes like whales are washed ashore and are seen lying on the beach. The carcass could then land in the garbage dumping site where it rots. Many-a-times the carcass is buried in shallow pits. This can lead to spread of disease and the leachate can contaminate the groundwater.  The only way to go about the task is to incinerate the carcass. Sufficient number of animal carcass incinerators need to be set up in the state under the jurisdiction of urban local bodies.
