Our elected reps silent on NASA's Mormugao report

The United Nations has released a 3,500-page climate science report. Local dailies attributed the IPCC- Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change report to National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) saying Mormugao would be submerged by 2.7 ft of water by 2100. The full implication of the report dawned on Greens and many world leaders who were left stupefied.

But not a single leader in Goa, nor the new ‘aspiring leaders’ who are throwing their hats in the poll ring, batted an eyelid. This is a wakeup call: no longer can we rely on any Tom, Dick or Harry becoming MLAs/MPs. The world is becoming too complicated to afford the ‘reasoning’ of current leaders in Goa. We need educated, knowledgeable, non-corrupt, non-compromising people as MLAs as wrong decisions can set us back decades. The BJP owns responsibility for wilfully reducing the time for this disaster, by their act of cutting down thousands of trees for their linear projects, not offering even a semblance of resistance to their Delhi masters,  reducing HTL for more constructions. You see, when a Govt works to legalise the illegal: what more is left?

Stop malpractices in govt departments

You must be well aware that in this pandemic many people have lost their jobs, inflation in increasing day by day, salaries of government staff are increased but not of private workers, fuel prices of diesel and gasoline are almost touching Rs 100 per litre.
