Panaji residents cannot use footpaths filled with animals

The time has come for pedestrians to make provision in the future for a pathway on their terrace to have their daily walk instead of using pavements because these are not meant for human beings anymore. What we see nowadays are cows, buffaloes, dogs everywhere. Not only that, there are several obstructions like trees and all sort of garbage dumped all over the footpath and pedestrians cannot comfortably take their daily walk. When will Panaji city look on par with other states of India and world? Our Chief Minister Pramod Sawant keeps on claiming this Panaji is a Smart City but when you see the ground reality it is the animals on road that are smart. So many times we see cows nicely using our Campal footpath and we are forced to walk on the road.

Tougher laws needed to curb horrific accidents

Goa is seeing a horrific high accident rate for quite some time now and whilst yes speeding and drunk driving can be included as  major causes, the Goa government cannot evade its accountability and responsibility on these serious issues.
