The Panjimites are definitely heading for the worse as despite the promise given by the Smart City officials to the High Court of completing all works by May 31, as much as 30% works are still pending and it will take another one year to fully complete all works in Panaji. Which means that Panjimites will have to compulsorily keep a few boats on standby this time in the interior parts of the city to move around whilst doing their daily marketing/shopping and also life-jackets as many areas of Panaji are definitely going to be fully submerged during the coming monsoons and turned into huge swimming pools resulting in drowning deaths of innocent people due to the incomplete works of the Smart City Project. I think that the two High Court judges who had done walked around the streets of Panaji in front of media persons and who later had given a deadline of May 31 to complete all works should now at least pass an order, take the Smart City officials to task for deliberately taking not just the poor Panjimites but also the High Court for a jolly ride and openly making a mockery of even the judiciary by deliberately giving a false assurance/promise (despite of knowing that the given deadline of completing all it's pending works by May 31 was practically not just possible) over the completion of all it's works in the city. Hope better sense prevails.
