Political hate has an expiry date too

Modi delivered one of his most venomous poll speeches in Banswara where he called Muslims infiltrators, people with multiple children who are eyeing the jewellery and mangalsutras of Hindu women. BJP lost the Banswara seat by a record 247,000 votes. Modi personally visited Banaskantha and made a similar toxic statement of Congress taking away wealth and distributing it to the minority community, the Sanghis lost there too by a margin of 30,000 . Wonder of wonders, the saffron party ceded the Ram temple seat, Faizabad to Samajwadi Party barely 4 months after the shrine's inauguration along with all other seats in the Ayodhya division. Smriti Irani lost from Amethi to a John Doe  Congress loyalist by a massive margin of 170,000 votes. The party won both seats in strife-torn Manipur. This makes it amply clear that people are fed up of hate and bigotry dished day in day out by the Sanghis and amplified by a pliant media, they have struck a resounding slap on the cheeks of the BJP. Hate has an expiry date too and as the old song goes.. 'yeh public hai, sub jaanti hai.' Love all, hate none.
