This is a commonscenario every monsoon season. The road condition is unmotorable after therains. Before the showers, no efforts are made to clear the potholes. Themotorists and other commuters are made to endure untold sufferings. Potholerepair needs a highly professional and holistic approach as these develop dueto weak and improper insulation. Also, several parts of the city lack no-parkingand one-way signs leading to confusion among drivers.Ironically, the name Panaji or Ponje means the "land that never getsflooded" a fact that finds mention on the smart city website.
