The matter pertaining to an LED fixture existing in a hanging position in the vicinity of Bhingi’s Farm House at Talaulim in Ponda was published in this publication on October 13. Travellers and pedestrians were facing inconvenience due to the lack of illumination in this area at night. Taking note of the matter, the electricity department re-installed the hanging fixture in its correct position. With the said positive change, the public at large would now receive illumination on the road at night. Let us hope that in future too, such minor defects would be rectified regularly in public interest.
