Gone are those days when the pristine beauty of Goa dazzled like a diamond. The fresh vibrant air in the atmosphere made the picnickers enjoy their day surrounded by green lush hills. The waterfalls produced crystal clear pure water. Come summer and everyone used to have a gala time by immersing themselves in the waters of the Arabian sea. The pristine beauty of Goan beaches usually attracted tourists from neighbouring cities like Mumbai, usually in the months of April and May. The traditional markets were usually crowded with negotiating crowds, and people were able to purchase to their heart's content. Unfortunately, the flip side seems to be absolutely a different story in modern day Goa. In the current scenario, it's dangerous to keep your windows/doors open even during the day time, leave aside the night hours. With concrete jungles showing its ugly head everywhere, the pristine beauty of Goa seems to be disappearing gradually. In addition, the lifestyle of the local populace has changed to a great extent. With advanced technology, times have really changed, but the question still remains unanswered -- Where are we heading? Where have those old days of golden era disappeared?
