Skill India is the Indian government's answer to the country's high youth unemployment rate. Unemployment in Goa has become a challenge today. Many of the departments have shortage of manpower. The unemployed youth should be given an unemployment allowance every month by setting age criteria. Several economic conditions force families and individuals into unemployment, making it impossible to make ends meet. It will also provide them some monetary help to either seek employment or to kick-start some self-employment venture. The common man has no allowance and keeps on suffering with the cost of living going up. Few states have incorporated unemployment allowance schemes to render economic assistance and eradicate unemployment.
