At the bus-shelter located near Two-Pillars at Queula village in Ponda, stray dogs have been occupying the bench provided for the benefit of commuters.
Hence public at large occupying these premises have been unable to utilise the same. Many of them, especially the female gender prefer to remain standing outside the bus-shelter so as to avoid getting bitten by the stray dogs.
The local village panchayat, viz the VP of Queula in Ponda should take a note of this and see to it that the dogs do not enter these premises at any instance.
Providing a proper gate at the entrance area would help in keeping away this serious menace on a permanent basis. Further, this particular bus-shelter has been noticed in a dirty condition on most occasions.
Hence assuring cleanliness at these premises gains great significance. Let us hope that prompt favourable action would follow in this regard in public interest.
