PWD dept must solve Paroda flooding problem

The people of Paroda are facing waterlogging and flooding problems for years but the PWD department is not taking the issue seriously during the rainy season. Recently the highway road work was carried out but the PWD department failed to increase the culvert passage by replacing the old pipes with new ones or by developing the culvert where the water can pass through it without being blocked. Looks like The PWD department is not monitoring the work on site. The government of Goa should listen to the voice of people and the villagers of Paroda should be taken into consideration before going ahead with the work . This issue comes to fore every year during rainy season especially when the road is blocked by flooding but till today the issue is not taken seriously by the government of Goa. The traffic is blocked at Paroda and diverted through the Chandor village. Requesting the PWD and the government of Goa to solve the issue which our former chief minister had promised to solve during his term.
